Abstract

Rules of safe co-operation between the administration staff and the riders.

Regulations

  1. Works commissioned to the Administration by the Racing Department (in the racing zone) must be notified to the Head of the Technical Infrastructure and Administration Department in advance. After agreeing on the date of the works (day, time), he will inform the person responsible for further execution of the task – this applies to multi-hour works requiring notification of all trainers, and temporary shutdown of a track or tracks.
  2. When carrying out ongoing work in the racing zone (ordered by the trainers between 7.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.) – repair of drinkers, replacement of boards in horse boxes, unloading, etc., and when loading the manure, absolute caution must be exercised when crossing the track, and when moving around the stables and the horse walking machines.
  3. When working in the arenas, regardless of the time of day and the arena use schedule, the established rules will apply to each entry, i.e., stopping in front of the entrance, voice warning, eye contact and finally entering.
  4. All works performed on the racetrack (flat, with the fences) between 7.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. must be agreed with the racing department.
  5. Works carried out on the steeples between 7.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. must be carried out with special care consisting of visual monitoring of the terrain in order to avoid hazardous situations during horse training.
  6. Any disputes and conflicts should be resolved in a calm and sober manner. In case of difficulties in resolving the conflict, the immediate superior should be contacted.
  7. In the event of a breach of these Regulations by one of the parties, the employee should report that fact to his or her immediate superior.
  8. In case of doubts as to the manner of work performance, it is necessary to contact the immediate superior.
  9. It is forbidden to leave any vehicles, machines and equipment in the racing zone.
  10. Horses have an absolute right of way on the territory of the Wrocław-Partynice Horse Racecourse.
  11. If a horse running without a rider is noticed, it is necessary to immediately inform the immediate superior.
